I just read a story in my local paper about a man who lost his wife and newborn son 40 some years ago after a tornado ripped through their home. Apparently her wedding ring was lost as well because she was still swollen from pregnancy/delivery so it was on the bathroom counter.
Fast forward to this year and a woman is tilling her garden when she comes across a wedding ring. Since they live in a small community, she knew the cousin of the man who lost his wife because she purchased her land from him. After asking around she learns that the whole story and set's out to return the ring to it's rightful owner and this man was so pleased to have it back. It was hard on him remembering the past but also comforting.

I was tempted to go to the gulf coast hunting..but figured it might look bad..LOL...taking advantage of storm victims..but heck...if I found something valuable and could find the owner..I'd do it in a heartbeat...heaven knows what you could find in the state of Oklahoma..just go anywhere tornados have been..theres bound to be valuables just sitting under a few inches of earth...

Speaking of finding things...I have been wanting to go to Arkansas diamond hunting. I need to remember the name of the place but it's open to the public and for a flat fee you can search the area all day.
There have been some big diamonds found there recently.
